Employment Information
The Acadia Corporation is a private company operating under contract with the National Park Service to provide visitor services for Acadia National Park. We operate three retail interpretive centers in the park (on the summit of Cadillac Mountain, overlooking the sea at Thunder Hole, and on the shores of Jordan Pond) and several gift shops outside the park in the resort community of Bar Harbor. We also operate the Jordan Pond House, one of the area’s best-known restaurants, serving luncheon, afternoon tea and dinner. Our primary mission is to provide a high level of service to the visitors of Acadia National Park and its surrounding residents.
